Curriculum
Enrollment is open throughout the year, starting every Monday. Students wishing
to extend their stay have the opportunity to progress from one achievement
level to the next within the core curriculum.
Our courses are designed to meet the specific language needs of students
desiring fluency and proficiency in English. Within the curriculum
is integrated a range of essential skills in reading, writing, and
oral language, including a solid foundation in spelling and grammar.
Students receive from 18 to 30 hours of instruction per week based
on the choice of the intensity of classes. The instructors at IEP
will encourage communication within the classroom by providing opportunities
for students to interact with one another individually, as well as
through small- and large-group assignments.
At IEP studying English is not limited to the classroom only. We offer
a wide range of optional activities to help you discover the United
States and make new friends. Field trips and outdoor activities such
as Disneyland, SeaWorld, Ski Resorts, Beaches & Museums always very popular among students.
